The Anatomic Primal Ectoderm Platform is a “shortcut to shortcuts” allowing the rapid directed differentiation of human melanocytes from pluripotent stem cells in only 7 days. Pluripotent stem cells are patterned towards ‘primal ectoderm’ in 24 hours which are further patterned towards HOXB1 expressing neural create and terminally differentiated into melanocytes expressing MITF and SOX10 with up to 85% efficiency.
